signed and dated on the binocular stage POWELL & LEALAND / 170 / Euston Road / LONDON / 1878, retaining much original lacquer and in fine mechanical condition, contained in original fitted box with near-complete magazine of accessories including set of nosepieces ranging in value between 1in. 30º and 1/50 150º, and a separate bull's-eye condensing lens and stand. Cased measurements -- 18¼ x 11 x 13in. (46.4 x 28 x 33cm.)

Condition Report
In excellent condition overall, mechanical action firm and smooth. The following anomalies have been located amongst the nosepieces: 1in. is signed Swift; 2in. is missing; 4in. is incomplete; ½ 40º is unsigned - the other sixteen are all signed by P & L and inscribed with a power matching their lids.
