unsigned, the plush-lined upper tier fitted and complete with typical instruments including compass, pens, dividers etc., the lower tray with two ivorine rules, brass protractor and associated compass, contained within rosewood case with inset block plate and owner's plate -- 8in. (20.3cm.) diameter; together with a small leather cased pocket set by Stanley of London with ivorine square protractor signed Stanley, Great Turnstile, Holborn, London, with fitted compartments for compass etc. -- 6in. Wooden case: upper tray - missing one instrument; lower tray - ruler chipped in two places, probably lacking some contents.
Leather case: leather warped, old ink stains on inside cover, some wear to the felt, missing three items.
