Originally built by Thorneycroft and launched in 1943 as a T-Class destroyer (R33), in 1954 she underwent a substantial re-build at Thorneycroft and emerged as the Type 16 fast anti-submarine frigate modelled here. She was broken up at Troon in 1966.
