the ebonised alloy W-pattern frame with arc signed as per title and divided to 125º, trade mark to left, numbered '23780' to right, vernier with micrometer adjustment, index arm with Kriegsmarine emblem and number '8583', universal telescope with leatherette covering, seven shades, two mirrors and hollowed Bakelite handle, contained within fitted pine box of issue with associated official error certificate dated '18th October 1943' for an instrument numbered '23657' and Huson error certificate for this instrument dated 10.1.50 inside lid -- 12½in. (31.7cm.) diameter
