Condition Report
Compass structure in good overall condition and still responding to magnetic influence. White paint on interior of bowl is now flaking heavily, with some sitting at bottom under the compass, suggesting the glass is original. Top front dovetailed section of box has sprung slightly, which could easily be rectified. Compass papers and threads in good order.
